Dear Associates,
We have mentioned two scenarios that you may encounter while filling your E3 timesheets, and also provided a solution to them. For any queries you may have, you may raise a Global Help Desk ticket.
Scenario 1 You are in a situation where you do not have internet access on last day* for timesheet entry as per the dates given below and
have missed entry for a few days. What do you have to do in order to not lose your salary?
*For 1st to 20th of the month
à 21st day of the month,
*For 21st to last date of month
à Last day of the month
Solution You may inform your manager immediately who can make an entry in timesheet on your behalf prior to the approval cut-off dates#
mentioned below. In case your manager does not make the entry or approve, your leaves (first compensatory, then annual) will be adjusted automatically to reflect your absenteeism. You will lose your salary in case you have no leave balance.
# For 1st to 20th of the month
à 22nd and 23rd of the month
# For 21st to last date of month
à First working day of next month
Scenario 2 You missed swiping in/out or both, but have entered your time sheet for that day, will your leaves be deducted against the no swipe
or will it result in loss of pay?
Solution You may inform your manager immediately who can
approve prior to the approval cut-off dates# mentioned below. In case your manager does not approve, your leaves (first compensatory, then annual) will be adjusted automatically. You will lose your salary in case you have
no leave balance.
#For 1st to 20th of the month
à 22nd and 23rd of the month
#For 21st to last date of month
à First working day of next month
Regards,
